ILO RESOURCES

Housed at the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Social Finance Programme, the Microinsurance Innovation Facility conducts research on ways to protect the lives and enhance the livelihoods of low-income people. The ILO generates knowledge from its pool of almost a hundred projects in more than 35 countries, as well as through partners in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Through its partnership with GIIF, this knowledge can now be explored using a range of resources – from quick updates to papers exploring one theme in depth – on this section.

FARMD PUBLICATIONS DATABASE

The Forum for Agricultural Risk Management in Development (FARMD) is a network of practitioners seeking to enhance the sharing of experience and knowledge in agricultural risk management. FARMD provides a platform for sharing experiences and information amongst agricultural risk management practitioners as well as a space for learning, capacity building, and advancing knowledge in agricultural risk management. Through its partnership with GIIF, this knowledge can now be explored on this section.
